Florida Citrus Parade
The Florida Citrus Parade takes place on December 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
The Florida Citrus Parade is a local tradition through the streets of beautiful downtown Orlando that has grown to become one of the largest sports affiliated parades in the nation. The parade occurs each year between the Russell Athletic Bowl and Capital One Bowl games. The parade is broadcast in over 75% of the TV markets in the United States as well as international locations such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and the military syndicated channel AMERICA ONE.
The Florida Citrus Parade boasts signature floats made of fresh citrus fruit and features spirited high school marching bands from throughout the nation, participating bowl game college marching bands, specialty units and other exciting performances. Upwards of 3,000 participants take part in this spectacular event.
