Hunting Pokemon in Orlando
August 05, 2016
The new Pokémon Go app broke records as the most downloaded app in its first week in the Apple Store and it’s already the top free app in the Google Play store. So, we are certainly aware that many tourists visiting Orlando are active Pokémon Go players and are ready to catch them all.
If you are staying with us at The Enclave Suites we can already guarantee that you are close enough to all of the action. International Drive is right on the corner from our hotel and big attractions like I-Drive 360, Universal City Walk, Universal theme parks and the premium outlets are located very near us. And that means plenty of Pokémons to be caught.
Our friends at Visit Orlando have created an entire landing page on their website dedicated to this new phenomenon that is Pokémon Go. The page included an interactive Pokémap that helps you identify Pokéstops and Gyms that you may want to visit. You can check out their page here. But if you want a quick rundown of what is near us, here you go:
– I-Drive 360 (1 mile from the Enclave Suites) – The area has 4 Pokéstops.
– Artegon Marketplace (2 miles from us) – Everyone’s favorite anti-mall has 2 gyms and 14 Pokéstops.
– Fun Spot America (1.3 miles from us) – The park has 8 Pokéstops and a Gym, as well.
– Universal Orlando (1.7 miles from us) — They have at least 5 Gyms between both parks and even have PokéStops in the parking garage at Universal City Walk.
So you have plenty of fun places to explore that are located less than two miles from us! Please remember to use caution when playing outside, crossing roads, or playing in a crowded area. There are lots of people in Orlando during summer, so be aware of your surroundings and respectful toward the people around you. And most importantly, do not play and drive! Happy Poké hunting!
