The Coolest Anti-Mall in Orlando

July 22, 2016

The fact that Orlando is not only a theme park dreamland, but also a paradise for shopping enthusiasts is already old news. The shopping tourism has been just as strong as the theme park tourism. Our guests at The Enclave Suites always tell us how they love shopping in Orlando and often plan to dedicate several days of their trip exclusively to shopping and relaxing.

But Orlando also has a hidden-gem mall that is not really talked about among tourists. The Artegon Marketplace- former Festival Bay Mall, was completely remodeled to become the anti-mall in Orlando and their new concept is absolutely incredible! The newly renovated Artegon has only been opened for a little over a year, so most tourists have not yet had time to get to know this awesome spot.

You won’t find designer stores and discounted brand-name clothes in this mall, but you will find an array of awesomeness that is unbeatable. Here’s what they have to offer:

Artisan work: The anti-mall is composed of mom and pop shops selling all kinds or handmade products, crafts, art, furniture and more! It’s not at all like a flea market or second-hand store, though. All the stores offer impressively unique pieces that will please even the most picky consumer. There’s something for everyone!

Services: you can go to a Paint and Wine class at Hyder Gallery, master the art of blowing glass at international Hot Glass, rent a photography studio to host a photo shoot or watch your favorite blockbuster at their Cinemark movie theater that has reclining chairs!

Fun: Kids will have a blast riding Animal Riders, climbing high at Sky trail or jumping off their energy at Sky Trampoline Park.

Food: they have it all! Pizza, sushi, burgers, waffles, ice cream and more!

And that is just a sample of everything Artegon has to offer! Dare to visit their space and see it for yourself. We swear you won’t regret it!
